[I own the rights to none of these! For entertainment purposes only] The soundtrack to my novel, which was based on a screenplay, which was based on a short story originally written in 1988. Many of these songs are featured in the novel; others would be on a wish list for a motion picture adaptation.
Directors/producers: CONTACT ME. I have a script.
[I claim no rights to any of these songs!]
A soundtrack to the 1940s crime noir world of Oscar Jade, a private detective who lives above the Pelican Bar and Grill in Miami Beach, Florida. Any of these forty songs might be found on that jukebox...take a trip across the mists of time with me.
My conversation with Donnie Lansdale, from Everydayauthors.com, sponsored by The Writer's Forum on Facebook...here, I delve a little deeper into the nuts and bolts of my creative inspiration, my personal challenges, and my process for telling Wiley's story.
In January 2024, I sat down with fellow author Bryan Nowak, who was in the middle of listening to the Wiley audiobook when we did this. We had a nice conversation about my non-writing career(s)...and how it (they) ultimately impelled me to get serious about my writing.
That time I did 'morning drive' with the "Greg and Dan Show" in Peoria, Illinois,
on WMBD 1470 AM, in April 2022, when 'Wiley' was first published.
A great talk with the guys - I think Greg really dug the concept.
I had a lot of fun with EJ, Sean and Rob in June 2022 - and made new friends! Here's a rollicking look at Weird News, Florida Man stories...and the disappearance of a 25-year-old artist named Wiley. Later on, we go to Miami Beach in the early 1940s.
In June 2023 I appeared on "Viewpoint," a morning talk show on WLCN 96.3 FM, with Loyd Kirby and Jim Ash. The highlight of this interview, though, is the featured interviewer: the legendary Bill Gossett - 100 years old and going strong. It was a great honor for me to be one of his final interviews before he retired.
A nice chat with fellow author Azrielle Lawless, when I had recently published "Wiley" and "The Duesenberg" in serial format on Kindle Vella. It's a fun format...I might very well serialize "Eyes of the Dead" to debut the material...
